Nursery School Program

Preparing for kindergarten isn't just about knowing the alphabet. It's also important for children to develop social skills and emotional well-being to do great things inside AND outside the classroom.

At City View Centre, we make learning fun and collaborative. All children learn and play differently. We embrace your child's uniqueness and encourage them to express themselves as they discover their personality. The better they know themselves, the better they'll thrive on their next journey.

In an intimate group size, every child can learn in a supportive environment. Our educators are knowledgeable and will direct their teaching to suit your child's learning style. Our program ratio is one (1) educator for every eight (8) children.

City View Centre's Nursery School curriculum supports each child in reaching their potential in all areas of development, including emotional, physical, intellectual and moral. Key experiences are integrated into developmentally appropriate activities to prepare them for a more structured school setting.

Set in a stimulating educational environment, your child will have the opportunity to explore and exercise their cognitive development through various problem-solving activities. We encourage self-direction to promote your child's sense of responsibility, self-confidence and pride.

We understand the importance of providing your child with a warm and loving home away from home. Our program is staffed by caring and dedicated professionals academically trained in child care. The curriculum is carefully designed by Registered Childhood Educators using the "How Does Learning Happen" (HDLH) and "Early Learning For Every Child Today" (ELECT) frameworks.
