Home Child Care

City View Centre for Child and Family Services (CVCCFS) Home Child Care Program contracts with individuals who are interested in developing their own home-based child care business. Our program is licensed by the Ministry of Education in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act.   The Ministry of Education conducts a licensing review once a year to ensure that the Agency and the affiliated Providers are meeting the requirements of the Child Care and Early Years Act.

The Providers that are affiliated with CVCCFS are self-employed.  The Agency contracts with the Providers to provide quality child care in their own home for up to a maximum of 6 non-familial children. Providers receive ongoing support and access to training which enables them to provide a high quality early learning environment in their home.

It is our expectation that affiliated Providers will use the Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) framework to guide and support their curriculum as well as How Does learning Happen - Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years.
