Program Information

  • The ratio is one (1) educator for every three (3) children, maximum 10 children.
  • Average age of children in this group is 12 months to 18 months.
  • There are ten (10) children in each infant room.

Fresh, nutritious meals and snacks are prepared on site daily, by our chef. He is a graduate of Algonquin College and has numerous years of experience in the food industry.  Our menu provides a three week rotation of meals and snacks which follow the Canada Food Guide.  We are a “Nut Free” facility. Infants who are not eating regular food may have the option to bring their food daily.

Rest Time

The infants nap in their bedroom according to their own schedule as agreed upon with the parents. Each child is assigned their own crib, each crib area has its own light and cupboard for each child's belongings. The crib sheets and blankets (optional) are laundered weekly. Children may bring their own blanket or sleep toy from home. Soothers are permitted in the infant room during nap time.

Outdoor Play

The playgrounds are inspected on a daily, monthly and seasonal basis by program staff and on an annual basis by a Canadian Certified Playground Inspector to ensure that the environment and equipment is safe for the children. Children are taken outside both morning and afternoon, weather permitting.
